Green Artificial Oyster Reef Technology on the Georgia Coast

 

Created presentation for production to provide insight and guidance to accomplish specific cinematographic technique. Additionally provided location sound production assistance, as well as conduct interviews.

With the decimation of Oysters of the past century, effort to replenish wild stocks have increased. At Valdosta State University, undergraduate students alongside Dr Thomas Manning have been developing a technology to contribute to these efforts. They have conducted research in Apalachicola Bay Florida, but are now looking to further develop their investigation by applying this technology along the Georgia coast. Oysters are not only a food source, they are imperative to preventing coastal erosion.



Storm X - Water Systems

Storm X is a manufacturing creating plastic works to protect water systems using best practices. Based out the United States, the company welds plastic together constructed from the designs of their sister company based in Australia.

Heavily involved with the post-production department, yielding a venue for leadership by representing the production team.Delivered speech on the importance of ocean protection at the 2019 Ocean Exchange event in Savannah.
